Producer: Tim Elias What we make: Gluten Free Yourself with our baked daily, made from scratch, gluten-free and sometimes dairy-free friendly options. Our products are all baked from our proprietary gluten-free (gf), nut-free, flour blend. Practices: do not contain any preservatives, artificial ingredients, or corn flour. Awards: Most recently, we were nominated "Best Gluten-Free Pizza" by @KEEPAUSTINEATIN. In 2019 we were AUSTIN CHRONICLE CRITICS CHOICE WINNER, voted "Best Bread You’ll Never Guess Is Gluten-Free". In 2017, we competed and were a top 25 finalist in the HEB Quest for Texas Best, we were a runner up in the Sam Adams brewing the American Dream pitch room competition at SXSW, appeared on Good Day Austin (2X), appeared in the Statesman and Austin Monthly magazine; placed 5th in Anderson Cooper’s cookie competition; and were hand selected to participate in Martha Stewart’s American Made Summit held in New York City.
Many years ago, after being diagnosed with exercise induced anaphylaxis triggered by gluten, and learning of the limited options gf people had available to them, Tim began experimenting with his own gf flour blends. Once he perfected his proprietary, gf flour; he created recipes and a business plan to take over the world… (or at a minimum, the gf community in Austin, TX)
Our mission is to provide everyone with delectable, artisan food options; demonstrate to the general public and foodies alike how delicious gf foods can be when prepared correctly; and to cater to our growing gf community by providing appetizing, made-daily, foods baked from scratch.
We believe GFY Kitchen will give food lovers the opportunity to taste how good gf foods can be when done right.
